The airtight fermentation lid fits standard one-gallon jars and turns your jug into an airtight fermentation vessel. It is drilled and grommeted with an airlock and can be used for all standard 110 mm one-gallon jars.

Dimensions

The gallon jar with an S-shaped airlock has the following measurements:

• S-airlock: The s-airlock is 7 inches in height, 1 inch across the top, and 2.25 inches across the middle. The airlock stem has a tapered end that transitions from 7/16 inch (0.437) to 3/8 inch (0.375).
• The Jar: 10 inches in height, 4.5 inches in top diameter, with a 110mm opening, and 6 inches in bottom diameter.
• Total Height: The total height of the jar with the airlock inserted is 16.25 inches, assuming 0.75 inches of the airlock is inserted into the lid.
